what is your print resolution, and what file size do you recommend for pictures included in photobooks. is there a function that alerts me to interpolation issues if files are not large enough on a page?

Hi Lisa

The recommended dpi is 300 for pictures. We also recommend that you use the highest quality possible from your camera.

The software will give you an alert warning of it thinks a picture in a box will not be good enough quality. In this case you can use another pictures or reduce the size of the picture box.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Hi Nick,

Why 300 dpi and not 600 dpi? Is there a special reason for this?

Hi Lisa

600dpi images are absolutely fine - we recommend 300dpi as a minimum resolution - anything above this is fine.

In your video tutorial for Text Editing you say that text can be pasted from other programs.
I would like to prepare my photo captions in MS Word 2007 (I'm using XP Professional) so that I can copy and paste them into my photobook when I have designed the photo layouts for each page.
I cannot work out how to paste text into your program - please advise.

Hi Pete

To paste text into the text editor simply copy the text from your originating application (Word in this case) then open the text editor and press Ctrl and V together on your keyword to paste the text into the editor. The next version of the software will also include a right-click menu that will also have the paste function but this is not available in the current version.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
